Classes

Lady LaRouge's education movement is truly a nerd's joy at work. Lady loves learning and sharing what she learns with her community. Find her educational series on social media about LGBTQIA+ history, cannabis: science, justice, and reform, and the history of drag and burlesque & its legends, focusing on BIPOC burlesque stories that are so often undertold. Lady also offers small in-person history & dance classes: providing valuable insights into the history and art of burlesque. Her educational series Too Darn Hot: 150+ Years of Burlesque History was awarded a 2021/2 Worcester Arts Council grant and was covered by the Telegram & Gazette. Join her for a sultry and informative journey into the world of burlesque.

Workshops

Lady's in-person one-off workshops are designed to provide in-depth historical research on burlesque and its evolution through time, with a specific focus on fat burlesque history, empowerment & self-love, BIPOC burlesque babes, history of vaudeville theatres of New England, etc. She offers a range of workshops to suit various interests.

From beginner to advanced, her workshops will leave you with a greater understanding and appreciation of the art of burlesque.

Private Coaching/ Entertainment

For those looking for a more personalized experience, Lady LaRouge offers private coaching sessions. Lady will work with any dancer one-on-one to cultivate their stage persona, help you develop your burlesque skills, and uncover your inner performer. Whether you are looking to improve your technique, develop a new act, or perhaps produce a show for the first time - her private coaching sessions will help you achieve your goals. Lady is also available to teach private classes for: birthdays, bridal showers, celebrations, divorce parties, and other private events.
